Staff Sergeant Brett L. Nguyen

Staff Sergeant Brett L. Nguyen is the Non-Commissioned Officer of Administration for the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 330 at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. In this position, he helps to oversee an array of programs including cadet in-processing, contracting, cadet pay and tuition, medical evaluations, and security clearances for students from among twenty-one universities and colleges for commissioning into the United States Air Force as Second Lieutenants.

Staff Sergeant Nguyen entered the Air Force in December of 2019 bringing him to Keesler AFB where he graduated through the Administration technical training November of 2020. Since graduating technical training, Staff Sergeant Nguyen has held various positions, such as working at a Student Registrar Office at the Paul W. Airey Noncommissioned Officer Academy, serving as Official Mail Technician at the Official Mail Center, and working at the Commander Support Staff for Tyndall AFB’s first F-35A Fighter Squadron.
