Technical Sergeant Gregory A. Bean serves as Officer Accessions Instructor of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC), Detachment 330, University of Maryland, College
Park, Maryland where he supports 8 Cadre members and 200 highly qualified cadets. As an Officer Accessions Instructor, Sergeant Bean is responsible for educating, training, and commissioning officer candidates.
Sergeant Bean entered the Air Force January 22, 2008. He graduated from the Personnel Apprentice Course at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, in April 2008. Upon graduation from technical training, he received a direct-duty assignment as a Special Programs Technician at Scott AFB, IL. Throughout his career, he has filled a myriad of roles within the Personnel Career Field to include Career Develop Specialist as well as Management Support where he maintained Officer Command Selection Record Groups for Air Mobility Command. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, A4 Personnel Programs, assigned to the Directorate of Resource Integration, DCS/Logistics, Engineering & Force Protection at the Pentagon, Washington, DC.
